Dog Facts

Hello there!!! We are going to tell you some dog facts!!

1. Some dogs have one black eye and one blue eye.

2. Dogs are domesticated 17,000 years ago, but perhaps as early as 150,000 years ago based apon recent genetic fossils and DNA evidence

3.  Longevity in domestied dog depends on the care they recieve, their breed, and body size.

4. Many giant dog breeds average for 8 years, while some small terrier breeds might live as long as 20 years.

5. The average lifespand for mixed breed & midsize dogs is 13-14 years. The longest lived dog died at 29 in 1939, which is about 210 in dog years!
